When Josefa Reina stopped posting new videos, I needed to find a pimple-popper to replace her. That’s when Enilsa Brown came into my life. For those of you who aren’t in-the-know, Enilsa is a kind-hearted aesthetician from Texas. She’s known for her soothing voice and gentle extraction technique.
There are tons of reasons to love her—she genuinely cares about her clients, she answers her viewers’ questions, her technique is completely sterile (no gunk-on-the-glove to see here), she doesn’t cause excessive trauma to her patient’s skin, and the list goes on.
Read through the rest of the article to find out my favorite Enilsa videos and why I love them.
1. Managing Ethnic Skin (Extractions Part 6)
If you watched Daryl’s videos in chronological order, you might have noticed the cyst on the bridge of his nose. Well, you’re in for a treat. Because this is the video where Enilsa drains it. And you don’t have to wait until the end of the video to see the puss ooze out—she starts the video out with a bang.
But if you’re not into cysts, you might enjoy some of Daryl’s earlier videos—the ones with long, stringy blackhead extractions.
2. Solar Comedones (Part 1)
I didn’t know what solar comedones were until I started watching these videos. Apparently, solar comedones (also known as Favre-Racouchot’s Disease or senile comedones) are blackheads that are caused by things like excessive sun exposure and smoking. When they first appear, they’re small. But as time goes on, they get bigger and bigger.
In this video, Enilsa extracts the comedones from the man’s eye area. After the extractions, his skin instantly looks better—it’s like the comedones were never there in the first place.
3. Acne Back Treatment (Christian)
Christian has a severe case of bacne. But since his parents don’t want to put him on Accutane (you can read about its side effects by checking out my guide on cystic acne), they sent him to Enilsa to take care of the problem.
Needless to say, she does an amazing job. By his second treatment, his skin looks so much better. It’s almost like he’s a different person.

4. Blackheads Extractions on Christian Part 2 B
We’re not done with Christian quite yet.
In the previous video, you got a glimpse of his bacne. But in this video, you’ll see some face work. To be more specific, you’ll see a satisfying series of long, stringy blackhead extractions. And if that wasn’t enough, Enilsa does a milia extraction towards the end of the video.
The thing about Christian is that his skin is oily, so his extractions are that much more interesting.
5. Filament, Ingrown Hair and Blackheads: Short and Sweet Video of Daryl
I’ll be honest with you. I think filament extractions are boring. So for the most part, this video doesn’t do it for me.
But there’s this one glorious moment in the video where Enilsa pulls out a 4-inch long ingrown hair. When I first saw that, I played it back about a million times. But ingrown hairs are my jam. FYI: skip to 7:11 to see it in action.
6. Blackhead Extractions on Leslie
Leslie is an 18-year-old with severe acne and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. If you’re squeamish, you might want to stay away from this video because there’s a lot of blood involved. Otherwise, it’s fun to see Enilsa attack Leslie’s blackheads and microcysts—most of which are located on her cheeks and jawline.
